Start with Murchison Falls; after breakfast head back to the airport where you will take a short flight to Murchison Falls airstrip. It’s worth noting straight away that luggage is limited to 15kg/33lbs for a soft bag and a small 5kg/11lbs hand luggage bag. You will be met and taken straight on safari in your 4×4 safari vehicle. The next day is at your leisure. You can head out for a full day’s vehicle safari, two shorter drives or mix it up with some water-based activities including a birding trip to the delta.
Proceed to Queen Elizabeth II National Park; after breakfast, head to the airstrip again for your short flight to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will again be met by your driver to immediately start your safari experience that will be tailored to your desires.
The next day after breakfast you’ll head out to explore Ishasha, the southern part of the park working your way north to the Kazinga Channel where you will take a water safari on a small boat to get up close and personal with hippo whilst watching a variety of wildlife drinking at the water’s edge.
After a picnic lunch or heading back out after a lunch at your Lodge, head to the south western part of the park where the famous tree climbing lions can be found in the fig trees enjoying an afternoon.
Wind up with Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will take a drive through the park and then onwards to Bwindi. Your drive will be tailored depending on what wildlife you spot. If you have a successful morning, you will finish your day at the lodge ready for dinner and an early night. If you get to Bwindi earlier you could take a side trip to view the golden monkeys.
