Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge is an intimate luxury retreat set in the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park known as the Nkuringo Sector.

Unspoiled and untamed, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of the world’s last remaining rich ecosystems. It spreads over a series of steep ridges and valleys that form a protective habitat for the mountain gorillas, the main attractions in this pristine jungle.

Built as a conservation project between the Nkuringo community, the African Wildlife Foundation, and Wild Places safari company, this multi-award-winning remote but intimate high-end luxury lodge in Bwindi is over 2,000 meters above sea level, making Uganda’s highest safari lodge.

The lodge sits on a ridge above the clouds, looking across to the Virunga volcanoes. The behind views focus on the primordial, mysterious and impenetrable forest Canopy. A personal butler takes care of all the nitty-gritty and personal welfare while you stay at Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge.
