From this forest gorilla tracking is the main experience while from the other trails you can go for bird watching, nature walk characterized by a number of other primates like monkeys, birds including Blue Turaco, Black casques horn bills, Black and White Horn bills, Yellow Backed Weavers, Wagtails, Cuckoos, Woodland Kingfishers, Flycatchers, Manikins, community visit is also much amazing, adventure the wild with faunas in the savannah wood land with enjoying the tree climbing lions, boat ride, game drives, Flamingo watching and salt mining among others.
Day1: Entebbe/Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Today after your breakfast from your hotel of residence, meet our guide or company representative and exchange greetings.
Thereafter proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in South Western Uganda. Stop over at the Uganda lovest Equator for an informative talks, awesome photos and edible snacks.
Thereafter drive to Agip motel in Mbarara town for en-route lunch and then proceed through rural countryside of Uganda.
En-route view of the beautiful scenery like the triangular peaks of the Virunga volcanoes of Rwanda and the Congo and terraced farming to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a home to half of the shy endangered mountain gorilla (Great apes). Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs/Haven Lodge/Rushaga Gorilla Camp. Meal plan: Half-Board.
Day2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Have early morning cup of coffee, after prepare for the briefing about do’s and don’ts regarding gorilla tracking experience from the Uganda wildlife officials.
Thereafter enter into the jungle to search the shy (Great apes)-mountain gorillas and enjoy their life style in their real home.
When meet the gorillas, sit around these great apes for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes. For this experience to much awesome one has to be fitness with walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, cameras, rain gears, sun screen and hut.
The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movement of these primates. After this experience you will have informative memorable-imaginable experience in life.
Evening visit to the local communities like Batwa performances and local art and crafts, local breweries, Bakiga typical home stead’s, traditional healers. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day3: Bwindi Forest – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning breakfast, and after depart to Queen Elizabeth hub of wildlife, via Ishasha sector and here expect to spot the tree climbing lions and other species. Lunch en-route. If lucky and these kings of the jungle are spotted the route is much amazing.
Then if time is on our side visit the Katwe salt mining Lake to experience of salt mining and the activity and beautiful view of flamingos as the sun is setting off.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge, Katara Lodge, Enganzi Lodge, Bush Lodge. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day4: Queen Elizabeth National Park (Game Drive & Boat Ride)
Dawn game drive to catch up with the early risers and predators (nocturnal) and other wildlife like some of the big five like the lions, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, bush bucks, water bucks, oribi, warthogs, leopards and more respectively.
Return to the lodge for refreshment, breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon prepare for a launch cruise along Kazinga channel.
Here varieties of animals are spotted which include hippos, crocodiles since the vessel cruise through their concentration and different water birds along the river bank. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day5: Kyambura Gorge – Maramagambo Forest Reserve
After our early morning breakfast, prepare at the Kyambura gorge site for briefing from park officials. Thereafter enter into this green reserve to search for the chimpanzees which are said to be un – predictable due to their wide movements.
It is believed that though these great apes are un – predicted the nature walk is so much awesome from other varieties in this reserve. Return to lodge for lunch and refreshment.
In evening take an informative nature walk at Maramagambo forest and here you will spot birds and other primates, blue Lake and the Bat caves. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala
After our full package with the extra-ordinary experiences we embark our safari vehicle back to Kampala. Lunch en-route. Then our guide will drop you to the Airport for your flight. End of services, Meal plan: Half-Board.
