Bwindi Lodge

Bwindi Lodge is overlooking the primeval Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge is the finest luxury lodge at Bwindi. With dramatic intense views of the forest canopy across a serene stream, it is one of Africa’s unique properties. The gorillas frequently come to relax in the verdant bush around the lodge! The lodge is perfectly located for a Uganda jungle gorilla trekking experience. The lodge boasts eight large Banda’s facing the forest.

Each of the guest Banda’s has a sitting area, a terrace and an en-suite luxury shower room. The main living area has a central fireplace which acts as a focal point for guests to relax and discuss their gorilla tracking experience. A large terrace overlooking the forest is a great place to spot the monkeys and birds hidden in the foliage.

The en-suite rooms reflect the local building style and provide luxury in an eco – sensitive way. Guests can look forward to flushing toilets, a double vanity, showers with hot and cold running water and a private balcony from which to spot wildlife, including chimpanzees, mountain gorillas, and monkeys.

Guests can enjoy delicious meals and evening drink at the cozy bar and dining area, which overlooks the forested slopes, or relax by the fire in the lounge and share exciting gorilla tracking adventures with other guests. Other activities include scenic walks in the rain forest, a massage at the Forest Spa, a tea processing tour and a visit to the Bwindi Community Hospital.
