Upon your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport with KLM Airlines, meet our guide and thereafter transfer you to the Hotel N0.5 Boutique/Karibu Guest House in Entebbe for overnight stay. Meal plan: B/B.
Day1: Entebbe – Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast from your hotel meet our safari driver/guide. Then transfer to North-west through famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town to Murchison Falls National Park. En-route visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for foot Rhino tracking and lunch thereafter proceed to the top of the falls where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from 50 meters to squeeze through a 6-meter canyon dropping 40 meters with a thunderous roar. Dinner and overnight at Nile Safari Lodge/Pakuba Safari Lodge/Fort Murchison Camp. Meal plan: Half-Board.
Day2: Game Drive & Boat Ride
After breakfast, we will go for a morning game drive looking for the African wildlife including the big5 like elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes and other wildlife in the park. Return to lodge for lunch and after take an afternoon boat cruise towards the bottom of Murchison Falls. This boat trip along the Nile is often cited as being the highlight of a trip to Murchison since it allows you to get up-close and personal with the animals.
On this cruise you will spot more wildlife along the banks of the River and among them include the hippos, buffaloes, elephants as well as bird life species and if lucky, you may see the rare shoe bill and after this amazing cruise return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day3: Murchison – Kibale Forest National Park
Early morning breakfast, after head Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima and reach the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Toro kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon,” the Rwenzori. Lunch en-route and after to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Kyaninga Lodge/Isunga Lodge/Kibale Forest Camp. Meal Plan: F/B
Day4: Chimpanzee Trekking – Transfer Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have breakfast and after go for the chimpanzee trekking in the Kibale Forest National Park, on this trek expect to spot more primates, birds, butterflies in the forest jungle. Lunch after transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and if you arrive in time, you can take an evening photographic game drive looking for more wildlife species. Dinner and Overnight at Elephant Plains Lodge/The Bush Lodge. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day5: Kyambura Gorge Walk & Boat Ride
This morning we will leave for the 08.00am chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge. Expect to see various primates most especially Chimpanzee of different species, Black and white Columbus monkeys and other animals like antelopes, hyenas, Lion and many others in the middle of savanna grassland. This gorge is a home of very many bird species. We will return to the lodge for lunch and a chance to relax before taking an afternoon boat trip along on Kazinga channel.
This will give you the opportunity to view wildlife up close: hippo’s huff and spray mere feet away from the boat, buffalo linger in the shallows. The shores of the channel are also home to an array of birds including pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork and many others. After this wonderful afternoon, a slow drive back to the lodge. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day6: Game Drive – Transfer Ishasha Southern Sector
Morning cup of coffee and embark safari vehicle and take dawn game looking for more wildlife species like the elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes among others. Drive to the southern Ishasha sector looking for the tree climbing lions and more wildlife like topi, oribi. Dinner and Overnight at Ishasha Wilderness Camp/Njojo Safari Lodge. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day7: Queen Ishasha Sector – Bwindi Forest National Park
Have breakfast and after take the morning game drive in the Ishasha Southern Sector looking for more wildlife species found in this sector like the lions, topi, oribi, elephants, buffaloes. Lunch, after transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park where you will experience the gorilla trek. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs/Buhoma Haven Lodge/Rushaga Gorilla Camp. Meal plan: F/B
Day8: Uganda Gorilla Trekking – Transfer Lake Bunyonyi
Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the briefing from the Uganda wildlife officials and thereafter enter into the jungle to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their life style in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes.
On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sun screen and hut.
The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movement of these primates. After this experience you will have informative memorable experience in life. Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi with the scenic view of undulating landscapes and beautiful dotted islands and dinner and overnight at Arcadia Cottages. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day9: Lake Bunyonyi – Entebbe
After breakfast, embark our safari vehicle and depart to Kampala with stopover at the Agip Motel for lunch, stop at the equator for photo taking and snacks arriving in the evening. Transfer to the Entebbe international airport to board your flight back home. End of services! Meal plan: Half-Board.
